Black Swamp CrossFit prides itself on safe, efficient and effective weightlifting Through our CrossFit experience it has come to light that lifting is a desired focus for many of our athletes. In addition, for CrossFitters proper lifting is essential in order to perform at ones utmost ability while WODding Basic CF training wasn't enough, we needed to focus and drill down on lifting and...therefore...... The Barbell Club was born.
The Barbell Club is for those that have lifted before. It is not a beginner program. If you know what a Clean & Jerk or Snatch is you are halfway there. If you have done them before – you are more than welcome to try out The Club. You don’t have to be great. That is what you are there for. You don’t have to have the desire to compete, you can join The Club just to work on your lifts and to be a better lifter. If you are interested in competition – you are in the right place. We have three USAW coaches. We have a team and participate in meets throughout the region. We are good and we are getting noticed.
